Today, as you stand in the gap for the lost, please pray for:
1. Follow up visits to Majid by other team members, that Majid will continue to be open to conversations about the Word of God and about Isa al Masih. Pray that he will be drawn to read the Bible and Christian literature recently given to him.
2. Abaz who continues to suffer from kidney failure. He has had to spend quite a bit of time in the hospital recently for dialysis. Some of our team members have been able to visit him in the hospital and have given him a copy of the Jesus film in his language. Pray that Abaz will be drawn to view the video and ultimately drawn to Christ in this time of vulnerability and need.
3. Rooz, a banquet manager at a hotel who received (by request) a Christian book from one of our team members. We recently heard that his wife has cancer, so Rooz has had to give up his job to care for their children. May he and his family be drawn to Christ during this difficult time. May our team members be able to effectively and sensitively minister to him as well.
4. Today’s featured Joshua Project UPG are the Tuareg, Kal Tamasheq of Mali. There are 463,000 Tuareg people living mostly in the country of Mali. They are less than .01% Christian. Pray that:
- Missions agencies and churches will accept the challenge of adopting and reaching the Tahoua Tuareg.
- Gospel broadcasts will soon be produced in the Tamajeq language.
- The small number of Tahoua Tuareg believers will rise to the challenge of taking the Gospel to their people.
- God will reveal Himself to the Tuareg through dreams and visions.
- God will grant wisdom and favor to missions agencies targeting the Tuareg.
- Take authority over the spiritual principalities and powers that are keeping the Tuareg bound.
- Ask the Lord to save key leaders among the Tuareg who will boldly declare the Gospel.
- Ask the Lord to raise up strong local churches among the Tahoua Tuareg. Tuareg, Kal Tamasheq of Mali.
